The Area Archive Centre holds an extensive collection of books, maps, photographs and documents, maintaining records relating to families, properties and events in the Wickham Market, Suffolk area. Open regularly, or by appointment – see website for details, plus records held, local publications for sale. All welcome to visit for interest or research purposes.

Free to download Wickham Market digital walking trails have been devised through a partnership between East Suffolk Council and walking app company ‘Go Jauntly’. Explore the village on foot, with step-free route options. The free, community-based mobile app must be installed on your mobile phone or device before you can download the walks.

Dating in parts from the 14th century, All Saints’ is a flint and stone quoin church with an elegant and unusual early tower, topped off by a slender leaded spire with a clock bell.  There is also a Sanctus bell turret on the eastern gable of the nave. The west front and canopied door dates from the 15th century.  The Church offers regular Sunday services and worship in a contemporary style.

Fun indoor soft play adventure for toddlers and children up to 7 years old. Small and intimate venue (up to 15 children only at any one time) – a place for the little ones to let off steam whilst you relax with a hot drink and homemade snack in Star’s Café and watch them at play.
