Explore not only one of England’s first tide mill sites, but one of a handful in the world still regularly producing flour. See the great English oak waterwheel, plus all the impressive cogs in this family-friendly living museum. Find out how power from the tides is transferred to the milling stones. Don’t miss the chance to watch the Miller in action on milling days.

Anglo-saxon royal burial site, with the ship burial believed to be of Wuffinga warrior king, Raedwald – hailed as one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of all time. Learn about the history of the site, its people, its excavators and their finds in the exhibition hall. Wander through timeless landscapes to the burial mounds and enjoy woodland and heathland walks with stunning views of the River Deben and the market town of Woodbridge.

A fun and educational family day out full of farm animals and exciting little adventures for all ages – but especially for the little ones. Resident animals include cows /calves, goats, sheep /lambs, horses and ponies, plus small furry friends and there are oodles of play and explore options both indoor and out (and about!).  Look out for fun day themed events. Fun indoor soft play adventure for toddlers and children up to 7 years old. Small and intimate venue (up to 15 children only at any one time) – a place for the little ones to let off steam whilst you relax with a hot drink and homemade snack in Star’s Café and watch them at play.

Ofsted and British Horse Society approved riding school, offering many activities including lessons / hacks for adults and children, including Pony Club and Tots Club, riding courses and residential camps. Something for all abilities, from those who have never ridden to those seeking new equestrian skills / sports. On site visitor centre, animal collection, pony rides and alpaca walks, café open to all, and campsite.
