The Wickham Market Beehive building is community hub which hosts groups for young people, such as youth clubs, Brownies, Guides and Rainbows, plus other village activities. The facilities include an adjacent recreational field.

Full range of post office counter services, alongside a convenient and well-stocked shop, featuring an extensive range of stationery, cards, confectionery, toys and general groceries.

Located at the Resource Centre, the library has an extensive selection of fiction and non-fiction books for adults and children, has free wifi, (bookable) computers and printing / photocopying services available. It welcomes all visitors and also acts as a venue for a programme of regular groups, activities and events.  

The Area Archive Centre holds an extensive collection of books, maps, photographs and documents, maintaining records relating to families, properties and events in the Wickham Market, Suffolk area. Open regularly, or by appointment – see website for details, plus records held, local publications for sale. All welcome to visit for interest or research purposes. 

Located in Wickham Market’s former town hall, the Wickham Market Royal British Legion Club is a membership-based community favourite that is home to monthly Bingo games, quiz nights and snooker matches. The Resource Centre has community meeting /interview rooms and a treatment room available for hire. It also incorporates Wickham Market Library and its garden is home to the Archive Centre. Conveniently located behind All Saints’ Church and the Medical Centre, it is accessible from The Hill via footpaths and close to a pay-and-display car park.

The Village Hall is a very well equipped hall providing excellent facilities for the local community. The grounds provide a recreational area with a bowling green, football pitch, children’s play area, skate park and a basketball court. The Wickham Market Shed Project is located at the rear of the Village Hall and nearby is the office of the Wickham Market Parish Council.
