Realm of the Polar Bear
Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Woodbridge Wildlife Group invite you to journey up to the Arctic Svalbard and learn about the birds, wild flowers and mammals that can be found there when Chris Parfitt presents an illustrated talk entitled “Realm of the Polar Bear” at Woodbridge Community Hall, Station Road, IP12 4AU on Thursday 19 December starting at 7.30 pm.
Phil Smith, Chair of Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s Woodbridge Wildlife Group said “Chris has some wonderful images taken during a cruise around the Arctic Svalbard. During this trip he hoped to see and photograph polar bears, but did he manage to do so? Come along to the talk and find out.”
Mr Smith added “Continuing on the polar bear theme, we have a very special raffle prize for the evening, as Jimmys Farm have donated a family pass to the Farm, where you can view Europe’s largest polar bear reserve. We are extremely grateful to Jimmy’s Farm for their support.”
Admission to the talk is £4 for adults with under 25’s free. Light refreshments will be served, there will be a raffle and last opportunity to buy Suffolk Wildlife Trust Christmas Cards. Doors open at 7 pm and there is no need to book for this talk – pay on entry with cash or card.
