Open Farm Sunday at Valley Farm, Wickham Market

Discover what happens at Valley Farm, Wickham Market, on Open Farm Sunday, 7 June 2026, held in association with LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming). Admission and parking are free, and visitors are welcome from 10am to 3pm.
Explore the farm tracks through meadows, woodland and along the riverside, where you can enjoy peaceful walks, observe wildlife and appreciate the natural surroundings. Valley Farm is carefully managed with permanent grassland, hedgerows, woodland and waterways to support biodiversity and provide a natural herd-living environment for our horses.
Meet the horses, peafowl, goats, alpacas and donkey, and keep an eye out for local wildlife including butterflies, bees, deer, foxes, otters, barn owls, kingfishers and herons.
There will be riding school demonstrations and interactive activities for children and adults, making it an enjoyable day out for all the family. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Children are welcome to bring hobby horses to canter round the tracks.
Refreshments, meals and snacks will be available throughout the day at the Camargue Café, which has a small children’s play area.
