Christmas Market on The Hill, Wickham Market, Suffolk
On Saturday, 28th November, the sounds of singers, the smell of hot food, and the sight of 42 stalls at Wickham Market’s Christmas Market on The Hill will officially kick off the village’s Christmas preparations.
Independent businesses around The Hill will be joined by 40 skilled makers and producers, creating a truly local Christmas Market. From sauces to spice up your sprouts to small-batch Christmas cakes, handmade gifts, pottery, organic skin care products, wreaths, and decorations, visitors will find a treasure trove of unique Christmas gift ideas.
For some, Christmas shopping is a real chore; but the Wickham Market Christmas Market makes it a fun experience for the whole family. The people who run the stalls are often the same ones who craft their products in workshops and small kitchens, creating a unique and personal connection to each item.
Local food trucks will be on hand to tickle the senses and as you browse the stalls Nigel Ashcroft will be singing Christmas classics, and the primary school choir will perform their festive songs.
The outdoor Christmas Market will be held from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturday, 28th November, at The Hill in Wickham Market, Suffolk. Free parking is available on the day in the nearby car parks (East Suffolk Council are suspending their Pay and Display fees for the day).
