The Red Triangle Bowls Club
Playing bowls is a good way of having fun, keeping fit, and meeting new people while playing at clubs in other Suffolk towns and villages. Beginners of all ages and family groups are most welcome. We are hoping to restart the junior member sessions again this year after having to abort them during the Covid pandemic.
The Red Triangle Bowls Club (RTBC) plays on a small green behind the Old Vicarage at the end of Crown Lane. We play only friendly matches with local clubs in a warm relaxed atmosphere. Most years we have a very full programme and play two or three arranged matches per week with additional opportunities to play in other club cups and drives.
The Red Triangle Bowls Club season starts in early May and ends late September.
If you are interested in playing bowls please come along and join us, its an enjoyable game for all ages.

They are community spaces for men to connect, converse and create. The activities are often similar to those of garden sheds, but for groups of men to enjoy together. They help reduce loneliness and isolation, but most importantly, they’re fun.

Ceilidh & Scottish Dancing
CEILIDH & SCOTTISH DANCING at Hasketon Victory Hall
Tuesdays 10am from 1st October 2019
6 week course - £30
For information and to enrol, contact: marjorybeaumont@gmail.com
Tel: 01394 386795
The dance class is for exercise and fun. Soft shoes and the ability to laugh mandatory!
I have run several dance classes in the Woodbridge area and have orchestrated ceilidh dancing at many local functions and charitable events. Most recently raising funds for the Ipswich Night Shelter.
After several years recovering from serious illness, I am excited to share my love of dancing once more and to enable others to experience the many health benefits, beyond the sheer fun of it, that come with Scottish dancing.
If this class is successful I would like to introduce WALKING DANCE CLASSES in the new year. These are inspired by Scottish Country Dancing and have inclusivity at their core: exercise, fun and the health benefits that come from social dancing. All to great music and appropriate to those who may be physically challenged.
I am an RSCDS qualified teacher.
